OSO: Affordable Sustainable Housing Concept

A circular economic community built for healthy happy living.

How do we turn the polar bear hair adaptations for the Arctic, and create a housing solution for California's drought-prone areas?

By using a unique three-part wall system that traps water from fog particles, while creating a buffer from the harsh sunlight and heat.

However, let us go beyond just one eco-friendly home, and create a symbiotic community that thrives in a circular economy.

How It Works

Our Team.

We were all students of Design for Sustainability at the Savannah College of Art and Design. This project was a collaboration between our different majors to produce a sustainable solution to the housing issues in low-income areas in drought and fog-prone Los Angels.
